Photos photos :)

I'm writing this post on blogger as for some reason I can't add images on wordpress :( Waiting to be fixed.
But I don't want to wait and will post photos right now (found how to connect blogger ws wordpress)

This one is by Veronique Enginger, it's from french magazine. I've started in september i think...

At the moment I'm doing "Orchidèes" by the same author V. Enginger- I just love her designs. They are soooo delightful!!!

Veronique Enginger "Orchidée"
DMC floss
Ivory evenweave 32ct

Lets see what I've finished :)
This one had to be made from 15 pieces, but as you notice, it has jus 6. All of them are different.
When I started 7tj piece, understood that so much backstitching and just 2 colours is not for me. Just couldn't resist, too boring and made me nervous ahahahaha
Christmas present for my dad :)

Book "La Passion des Biscornu" by Aurelle
White evenweave 32ct
Cross stitch 2 strands, back stitch 1 strand

Next one is "Plum Orchid" by Faby Reilly. Sweet colours. Easy to stitch and amazing result. Must to do this one and for myself as I gave it for my grandma on Christmas :) She loves to sew so nothing could be better for her. She loooooved it and shows to everyone

My First Biscornu

Back from France with another finished piece. It's my first biscornu. And finaly I've learned to do french knots (I had to go to Franche to learn them ahahahah)
I'm really proud of myself, thought to stop in the midle of work. there're so many french knots....
Here it is, what do you think?

Lavender Bouquet by Faby Reilly
Stitched on white evenweave 28ct
2 over 2

Now I started another biscornu called "Biscornu Gourmand", pattern from a most inspiring book for biscornu "La Passion des Biscornus"
You must buy this book :)
Maybe the only thing I missed in it, is explaining how to stitch them, something like step by step, cause for begginer it's not so easy to understand :)

love shopping!

After I discovered how to upload pics using my phone, will share more often (but still hoping to fix my pc). Just let me know if photos are too heavy,  will resize them ;)

Look what I've got in France last week! I was looking for some linens or any other beautiful fabric in the market (where selling all antique stuff) but found this floss- 45 dmc skeins for just 18 €+few skeins that were opened & used for free (in Italy costs 1.80 €) so lucky me!!!
Some of them should be old, they have different packaging as you can see in the photo. They were not using bar code yet as well :) and same number floss are slightly different.

And some cross stitch magazines,  I adore French designs! Will I live forever? ...

Sneak peek at what I'm stitching right now :)

Thursday, 11 July 2013

Hi :) finally managed to upload a photo! I am using Internet on phone and its not good as pc. First days of May had fire at home and it melted from the heat... but mostly I'm sad for all the stash I've lost..
Luckily just few days before accident I've finished winding all floss on bobbins and put them in a box. So they're safe :)
The good news are that I finished to stitch this cute cat. Last 10 days we were in France,  started a new project. Something with roses.  Will post soon!
Thanks for reading,  come back soon :)

Last days I had "fun" winding all my floss (and still i have some unwinded, waiting for more bobbins and a box). It's so comfortable- i can easily find any colour i need in a second :)

Now I'm stitching "Spring Bouquet" by Margaret Sherry

Got tired stitching HAED, so you will see small designs I work on ;)
Don't know what will do next, but will have a big choise- subscribed for "Cross Stitch Crazy" and "the World of Cross Stitching"

My little helper :) Hope one day she will want to learn xxx stitching ehehehe

Have a fantastic week !!!
